The heaviest stainless work we do, and the closest to the carbon steel fabrication we have supplied to BHEL and ISGEC for seventeen years. Vertical and horizontal storage tanks, dual tank systems on a common platform, process hoppers, cone bottoms, pipe spools and full pipe rack systems.
Capacity, nozzle schedule, manway position, leg or saddle arrangement and internal baffles are all built to your drawing. Plate rolling, dished and conical ends, nozzle setting and lug fabrication are done in house on our own plant.

Rolled in house
Plate rolling for shells and cones on our own machines, so shell roundness and seam fit-up stay under our control.
Nozzle schedule to your drawing
Manway, inlet, outlet, vent and instrument nozzles set to your positions and orientations, checked before welding out.
Weld examination
Visual and dye penetrant as standard, with radiography, ultrasonic testing and ferrite measurement arranged through accredited third parties when your specification calls for it.
Honest about pressure scope
These tanks are for atmospheric and low head service. Pressure vessels and IBR pressure parts are outside our present scope and our IBR Schedule XVI application is still in progress.

What buyers ask about tanks and process.
What tank capacities do you manufacture?
The catalogue shows 500 and 1000 litre systems, but capacity is built to your requirement. Maximum shell diameter is around 2500 mm and plate thickness runs from 2 to 20 mm.
Do you manufacture pressure vessels?
Not at present. The tanks in this catalogue are for atmospheric and low head service. Pressure vessels and IBR pressure parts are outside our current scope and our IBR Schedule XVI application is in progress. We tell buyers this at quotation stage rather than after a purchase order.
Can you fabricate pipe spools to our isometrics?
Yes. Send the isometrics and we fabricate and pre-assemble the spools, rack systems and supports, so site work is reduced to erection and final joints.
What weld testing is included?
Visual inspection and dye penetrant examination are carried out in house. Radiography, ultrasonic testing and ferrite measurement are arranged through accredited third parties where your specification requires them, and the reports are issued with the despatch documents.
